Nate

Nate, TRIBE’s founder, is deeply involved in both his Indigenous and Slavic heritage. A citizen of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma and an active member of the Belarusian-American community, Nate works across a spectrum of cultural organizations to advocate for identity, memory, and representation.

He regularly gives lectures on Native history at schools and universities throughout the Midwest, using education as a tool for reclamation.

In his free time, Nate explores Chicago’s vibrant cultural scene—attending festivals like Kazakh Fest, Korea Fest, Serb Fest, and more—always in search of cultural stories and new experiences.​

Customer Relations Manager

Gerald

TRIBE’s Co-President and Community Relations Manager, brings an international perspective grounded in both deep travel and strong community roots.

Originally from Texas, Gerald both is heavily involved in German cultural groups, and played a major role in strengthening Native American organizing and collaboration across the Southeastern United States before relocating to Europe. 

He is a true polyglot—knowledgable in several European and Native American languages, and he uses that to build bridges across cultures. One of his favorite pastimes is visiting to lesser-known countries —immersing himself in their daily life, sharing his own Native identity, and forming genuine relationships with local communities.
